Italian Chicken
This is a great first dinner after a long day of backpacking.
INGREDIENTS:
4 small coffee cans
4 sheets of foil
4 chicken breast
1 bottle of Italian Dressing
3 green pepper
4 potatoes, sliced
4 carrots, sliced
any seasonings you like
PREPARATION:
- At home, put everything together in the coffee cans and cover with foil. Put this in your backpack and let it marinate all day while you hike.
- This lets the juices go into the chicken and veggies. I like to add a little salt and pepper.
- At camp, place coffee can on grate over campfire or campstove and cook on hot coals for 45 minutes, or until done.
- Servings: 4

- 4 small coffee cans [empty]
- 1 roll of heavy duty foil
- 1 bottle of Italian Dressing
- some of your favorite seasonings
