Fruity S'mores
A camping recipe from Tina Shull. While we were on our first camping trip this year, we had fresh strawberries out on the picnic table with our s'mores items. I put one between the 2 cookies I used instead of the graham crackers, and along with the chocolate and the roasted marshmallow, which helped keep the strawberry in place while I ate it. Tastes yummy.
INGREDIENTS:
graham crackers
Hershey bars
marshmallows
fruit
PREPARATION:
- When making fruity s'mores, start with the usual ingredients: graham cracker (or any type of cookie), marshmallow to roast on stick over campfire, and individual chocolate squares. During fruit season, add fresh berries to the s'mores.
- For instance, you can try strawberries (halved works better), raspberries, bananas, blueberries, or blackberries.
- Servings: as needed
