Foiled Hash Browns

Feel free to add other things to the patty sandwiches. I add cheddar cheese, onion, or different spices each time.

INGREDIENTS:

4 hash brown patties
small can mushrooms
your favorite spices (I prefer Lawry's)
margarine

PREPARATION:

  • Spray aluminum foil with cooking spray or grease it with butter. Butter both sides of two hash browns and lay side by side on the foil. Top with the mushrooms and spices of choice. Butter both sides of the other two patties and lay them on top (sandwich-style).
  • Roll up the edges of the foil and place on a grill or campfire grate. Flip package occasionally to heat evenly. Cook until heated through. Package will be soft and mushy. (Time depends on heat of fire or coals.)
  • Servings: 2
