Hot Comal Tamale

This tamale whip up is a common treat among the locals in southern California. I must admit at first it was an experience, but now I'm hooked on them.

INGREDIENTS:

tamales, pre-packaged
mayonnaise
parmesan cheese
salsa
side of green salad

PREPARATION:

  • Grill tamales until golden brown. Remove from heat, and spread mayo on both sides. Sprinkle thick layer of parmesan cheese on both sides. Top it with salsa, add the greens, and voila!
  • Servings: as needed
    Preparation time: 10-15 minutes
