Other cake mixes can be used. We tried a confetti mix, and it was great.

16-ounce can pineapple
1 box white cake mix
12-ounce can lemon-lime soda
frosting, optional

PREPARATION:

• Line a 12-inch Dutch oven with foil. Spread drained pineapple on bottom of Dutch oven. Mix cake mix with soda, and pour over pineapple.
  Place about 8-10 coals underneath and about 12-14 coals on top of the Dutch oven.

• Cook until golden brown, about 30-35 minutes.

• Servings: 6-8
