Round Steak with veggies

A delicious steak dinner and easy to make.

INGREDIENTS:
1-1 1/2 lb. round steak 'tenderized' 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas 4 med. carrots, peeled 4 med. potatoes, peeled 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 env. onion soup mix Salt & pepper to taste heavy aluminum foil

PREPARATION:

  • Tear off 4 pieces of heavy duty foil (each about 18 x 15 inches). Arrange 1 steak in center of each piece of aluminum foil.
  • On center of each piece place 1 carrot, thinly sliced, 1 potato, quartered.
  • Stir together mushroom soup and onion soup mix; spoon over meat and top with peas. Wrap foil over and secure.
  • Place on grill or grate over campfire for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until meat and vegetables are tender.
  • Servings: 4
    Preparation time: 45 minutes to 1 hour

  • 2 env. onion soup mix
  • 1 heavy duty roll of aluminum foil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
For Twelve scouts
  • 4 1/2 to 5 lbs. round steak 'tenderized'
  • 3 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas
  • 12 sm. potatoes
  • 12 carrots
  • 3 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 3 env. onion soup mix
  • 1 heavy duty roll of aluminum foil
  • Salt
