Stuffed Taters

A camping recipe from Uncle Dan. These are even good to make extra. Take any leftover taters that were stuffed and cooked and put them in your cooler where no water can get them. Cut them up the next morning in a good hot skillet for breakfast. We have been doing these like this for 30 some odd years now, and they haven't failed us yet.

INGREDIENTS:
4 pre baked potatoes
1 pound pork pounds sausage
heavy aluminum foil

PREPARATION:

  • Take each potato and drill a hole down the center of it. Stuff it with your favorite sausage, and then wrap it up with foil and cook until it's done, about 30-45 minutes depending on the size of the potato.
  • Tip: If a drill is not handy, either use a potato peeler or take a large nail, poke down through the center of the potato, and then bore out the rest with a knife.
