POT ROAST DINNER IN FOIL
A good hearty beef dinner, very good recipe, but will take some time to cook.
INGREDIENTS:
3 lb. boneless chuck
4 med. potatoes, quartered
4 carrots, scraped and quartered
2 stalks celery, 1-inch pieces
1 env. dry onion soup mix
PREPARATION:
- Place in center of a large piece of heavy duty foil, boneless chuck.
- Arrange the vegetables around meat; pour soup mix, dry, over meat and vegetables.
- Bring the ends of the foil together and make a double fold.
- Place on coals or grill [grill 5" above coals], cook for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, turning regulary.
- Servings: 4
Preparation time: 2 1/2 to 3 hours
